Jefferson County Planning & Zoning was recently contacted by the Jefferson County Economic Development Corporation to let us know that they have engaged AngelouEconomics to develop a strategic plan to guide our County's economic development over the next five years. In contrast to the County's Comprehensive Master Plan and the Community Plans, this plan applies to the entire County, not just the unincorporated areas.

As a part of the information gathering portion of the process the consultant has developed a survey for residents of the County and owners and managers of businesses located in Jefferson County. Here is a link to those surveys http://www.angeloueconomics.com/jeffco/surveys.html.

If you are a resident or business in Jefferson County, we urge you to complete the survey to help the Jefferson County Economic Development Corporation and AngelouEconomics get a large sampling of residents and businesses in the County.  This information will help them immensely in developing the plan. For more information about the project you can visit the main web site at www.growjeffcoeconomy.com.
